Gratitudes
"Gratitude brings room for more things to be grateful for. Grateful to be grateful." — Beautiful Chorus
As I update the website with this new collection, a few thank-yous naturally rise to the surface.
First and foremost, a huge thank you to Yves Charbonneau—creative collaborator, filmmaker, photographer, and partner behind the imagery of The Zen Collection.
The photographs in this collection are the result of so much more than a traditional photoshoot. They emerge from a unique form of storytelling—one that lives in the meeting place of light, movement, poetry, and presence. A Sacred Cloth photoshoot has never been simply about documenting clothing yet it takes a discerning eye to reveal the essence beneath the work: the spirit of a collection, the soul of a brand, the heart of the creator, and the deeper intention woven throughout the work.
What a gift it is to witness the visible expression of what becomes possible when co-creation unfolds through love, trust, surrender, and curiosity.
For all that you bring to Sacred Cloth, to this collection, and to life far beyond either of them, thank you. A million times, thank you.

Second, another huge and heartfelt thank you to Villa Sabi in Canggu, Bali, whose extraordinary space became the better-than-perfect backdrop for The Zen Collection.
From the moment we arrived, there was a sense of serendipity and alignment—as though the collection had somehow found the home it had been waiting for. The villa's unique blend of artistry, elegance, warmth, and soul created a setting that not only complemented the visual language of the collection, but helped bring it more fully to life.
Like Sacred Cloth itself, Villa Sabi balances beauty and presence, refinement and authenticity, creating an atmosphere where creativity feels both inspired and deeply at ease.
To Joel Dumas and Véronique Dussault, thank you so much for your generosity, hospitality, and for the original vision to create such a remarkable sanctuary for artists, dreamers, and seekers from around the world.
#feelingblessed is an understatement

And of course, Sacred Cloth wouldn't exist as it is without Rafika and Mina, my two wonderful and generous seamstresses, who have been part of the Sacred Cloth journey since the very beginning.
As a one-woman business, it is impossible to do everything alone. Their steady support, adaptability, problem-solving, and care have helped bring countless pieces to life from my often imperfect samples and have been an essential part of the Sacred Cloth story from the very beginning.
For that, and for so many years of collaboration, I am deeply grateful.
♡
And last, but certainly not least...
Thank you to the unseen forces that guide, protect, conspire, and occasionally remind us that life is far more mysterious than we imagine.
...Including the unlikely series of events that reunited a lost backpack—containing the only copies of this entire photoshoot—with its owners (Yves and myself), after being left behind near the Los Angeles airport. (It must have been the spontaneous prayer we did in Bali that blessed our photoshoot from that moment on)!

Some things simply cannot be explained.
Only appreciated.
In gratitude and reverence,
Chanti
